It is very comfortable, well equipped with plenty of room for the dogs, very well maintained with a lovely front garden area and a long driveway. It has everything you need and could want in any accommodation let alone holiday accommodation.Well situated for places to visit in the area which are many and I cannot wait to re-book it for our next visit. Reviewed by Margaret 28th September 2024 Great Autumn visit to a warm cosy home . The Dogs loved the paddock and safe garden is ideal . You do need to travel to Amble to get anything but good shops. Also great fresh seafoods . Be aware it has a good step at back door, kitchen to dining room and down into the bathroom . Looking forward to booking a return visit next year . Perfect base to Explore stunning local beaches and towns . Hi enjoy just leave a week for us.

Reviewed by Olivia 21st September 2024 This cottage is tastefully decorated by loving owners , it shows internally and in the skill and knowledge used to plant up the gardens. It’s peaceful and relaxing. However the step down into the bathroom ( although clearly signposted) is very steep and awkward to negotiate safely for any one who has ANY mobility problems.

Reviewed by Jan 7th September 2024 Lovely converted cottage but beware tall people. Very warm, plenty of space very clean and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed the patio area but not too many opportunities (weather). The location was very quiet and a good base for exploring. I missed not having places to walk locally that didn’t involve roads. Definitely recommended.

Reviewed by Joyce 31st August 2024 Lovely well equipped cottage with great paddock for the dogs to run free. Worth noting that there is no shop in the village and a trip into Amble is required.

Reviewed by Jackie 27th April 2024 This good size cottage is beautifully maintained with a fabulous garden at the rear. Saw two hares boxing in the field – have never seen that in my life! Great location- close to A1 and to the coastal routes. The nearest town is Amble for supermarkets and restaurants. Northumberland was on my bucket list so it’s a big tick for me. Amazing castles, white sand and beaches and if you like a good read, Barter Books at Alnwick is a treat to behold
